3 Apples (your preference)
½ jar of Tamarin Speculoos Spread (7 oz.)
1 cup Self-Rising Flour
3 Tbsp Sugar
2 Eggs
6 Tbsp Butter
Caramel:
1 ¼ c Water
¾ c Sugar
Preheat oven to 350°.
Make the caramel by disolving/melting the sugar in the water on a hot fire until a light golden color caramel is obtained.
Pour the caramel on the bottom of a round baking tin.
Peel the apples, cut them into thin quarter slices and distribute them evenly onto the layer of caramel.
Mix the eggs with the sugar and add the melted butter.
Heat the Tamarin Speculoos Spread for approximately 30 seconds in microwave on high until warm smooth.
Add the melted Tamarin Speculoos Spread to the egg/sugar mix. Gradually add the flour and mix until a smooth blend is obtained.
Distribute this mix evenly on top of the apples in the baking tin.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Flip the pie upside down onto a plate and serve warm or cold with or without ice cream. It's great with Tamarin Ice Cream!
Good luck and enjoy!
