Tamarin Speculoos Ice Cream


Ingredients:

1 quart milk
½ cup sugar
1 jar of Tamarin Sandwich Spread (13.75 Oz)
5 egg yolks
4 teaspoons honey
½ cup cream

Directions:

Beat the egg yolks, Tamarin Speculoos Spread and honey with mixer until fluffy.

In the mean time mix the milk and sugar and bring to a simmer (170-190 degrees).

Slowly add 1/3 of the hot milk mixture to the egg/honey mixture to avoid curdling the eggs. Pour the tempered egg mixture back into the main pot.

Remove the pot from heat, add the heavy cream and stir.

Let the mixture cool down (refrigerate overnight for best result).It is then ready for the ice cream maker. Follow manufacturer's instructions for freezing.
